Well-known Afrikaans amateur group in Johannesburg, best known by their acronym: JAATS

Evolved out of Schalk Theron’s Sonop Afrikaner Kring. They secured the rights to premiere the poet and playwright Uys Krige’s Die Goue Kring for their Festival production at the Library Theatre in 1956.
