HOOD, Gavin (1963- ) is a South African film director, screenwriter, producer and actor, best known for writing and directing the feature film Tsotsi (2005) which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Amongst others he also directed the films X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Ender's Game.
