Manke Koos ("lame Koos") is a one-act comedy in Dutch by Arnold (Nicolaas Arnoldus Wijnstok, 1830-1878)[].

The original text

Written for the Rederijkers, it was published by P.M. van de Made, Amsterdam, in 1862.

Performance history in South Africa

1868: Performed by Aurora II in the hall of the Liedertafel Germania, Cape Town on 19 November, as an afterpiece to Gustaaf Wasa (Von Kotzebue).
