Mr Keytel (fl. 1850-1890?) was a Dutch speaking citizen of Cape Town, and an amateur actor.

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

According to Groom, he was a member of and actor for the Dutch society Tot Nut en Vermaak in Cape Town between 1843 and 1857. He may also have been the person as either P.W. Keytel or J. Keytel, both among the members of the Cape Town based rederijkerskamer called Aurora II (1866-1887).
