Goue Appels ("golden apples") is a one act Afrikaans play by D.F. Malherbe (1881-1969).

The original text

A nationalistic folk play based on the theme of Malherbe's own poem Bosrand ("bush hill").

Published in the collection Hulle Het ‘n Boom Afgekap en Goue Appels by Nasboek, 1956.
