Plays include Antjie Krog's Waarom is dié wat voor toi-toi altyd so vet? (Why are those who toyi-toyi in front always so fat?) (1999), in which performed as well as being the Executive Producer.

Film and TV work included Tess van Staden is an actress, known for Sterk Skemer (1999), Cry Me a Baby (1999) and Onder Draai die Duiwel Rond (1997).

She then moved to the USA in 2007 to try to get into film. While there acted in the play Fun Dogs and a Bone in Los Angeles.
