Crime Passionel is a play by French playwright annd philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre (1905-1980) [1].

Translations and adaptations

A translation into English by Kitty Black was published by Methuen in 1961.

Performance history in South Africa

1951: Presented by the University of Cape Town's Dramatic Society at the Little Theatre in August, directed by Donald Inskip, starring Percy Sieff, Arnold Pearce, George Cormick and Margaret Baxter. Since this producion was probably in English, a translation by Inskip himself was possibly used.
