The Distaff Side is a play by English playwright and theatre director John van Druten (1901-1957) [1].
The play was produced in the West End in London in 1933.
Published as The Distaff Side: A Comedy of Women, in Three Acts by Samuel French in 1934.
Performance history in South Africa
1936: Presented by the University of Cape Town's University Dramatic Society at the Little Theatre in September, directed by Ruth Cloete.
