The Shochiku Revue Troupe was an all-female Japanese dancing and revue troupe.


The company

Formally known as the Shochiku Kageki Dan (SKD) when it was founded in 1928, the troupe was resident at, and the main attraction of, the famous Kokusai Theatre Asakusa ("Akasuka International Theater")[1] from Tokyo.

They had become world famous for their appearance in the Marlon Brando film Sayonara (1958).
