Born in Cape Town.
Training
Michelle went to Stellenbosch University and the University of Cape Town, graduating with a Performer's Diploma in Speech and Drama (Bilingual) and a Teaching Diploma.
Career
Began as a member of the CAPAB Youth Group, Touring the Cape provice presenting literature through Library Tours.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Stage roles in Minnaar onder die Wapen (Windhoek, 1987), James Whyle’s Hellhound (Upstairs at the Market, 1992).
She became a household name through her roles in TV series like Arende (198*), Isidingo (1998-2007) and Binnelanders (2007-).
Awards, etc
She was nominated for an Artes Award for her role in Triptiek (best actress in SABC TV1).
