John Bolon (19**-) *** He staged a concert at the Bantu Men's Social Centre in 1953, in a fund raising attempt for Father Trevor Huddleston. He called a meeting, later that same year, of black entertainers, 300 people came, and so the Union of Southern African Artists was established.
