Marlene Blom (19*-1996) Choreographer and director.

Biography

She was married to playwright Charles J. Fourie. She died tragically in a car accident in 1996.

She studied at the University of Cape Town in the early 1980s.


Career

Worked for CAPAB.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Works include People Say that Steven Weed… (CAPAB in association with Community Arts Project 198?*), The Hunting of the Snark (CAPAB, 1991).

She produced the dance productions Exhibition, in 3 Pieces (Market Theatre and Pohim (NAPAC).
