Hywel Bennett (1944-). Welsh actor for stage, screen and TV . Born in Garnant, Carmarthenshire Wales, raised in London from an early age, he attended Henry Thornton Grammar School, Clapham and RADA. Made many well known films and TV series.
He came to South Africa in 1974 to star in NAPAC's production of Hamlet (as Hamlet) and in 1976 to star in Simon Gray’s Otherwise Engaged for Toerien-Firth Company.
