The Two Galley Slaves is melodrama in two acts, an English translation and adaptation by John Howard Payne (1791-1852)[1] of Les Deux Galériens, a French prose comedy in three acts by Victor Ducange (Alexandre-Vincent Pineux Duval, 1767-1842)[2].
