Antony Dawes (19**-) is a translator.
A prolific translator of Afrikaans literary works, including Raka by N.P. van Wyk Louw (1968) , Die Man met 'n Lyk om sy Nek, Putsonderwater (as Well-without-water, Or, The Virgin and the Vultures, DALRO, 1970) and other plays by Bartho Smit and Pa, Maak vir my 'n Vlieër Pa by Chris Barnard (as Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow).
