As a student he appeared in Echoes of the Night (1992).
He had a role in The Colored Museum, 1996. He played the role of King in Not With My Gun, 1998.
Other stage productions include Crashing the Night (Baxter Theatre 2000), On My Birthday (State Theatre 2002), The Suit (Civic Theatre 2002), A Streetcar Named Desire (National Arts festival 2002), Green Man Flashing (2004).
He played the title role in the film Kini.
Awards, etc
Nominated Actor of the Year and Outstanding Actor in a Comedy, National Vita Awards, award year 1996, for The Coloured Museum.
He won the Avanti Award as best Television Actor for Deafening Silence.
He won the All Africa Film Award as Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Reverend Msimango in Cry the Beloved Country.
