Twice Around the Park is a comedy in two separately titled acts by American playwright and screenwriter Murray Schisgal [1] (born 1926).
Published by Samuel French, 1983 (ISBN 978-0573617324).
The first act, A Need for Brussels Sprouts, opens with an unemployed actor lip-synching to a loud opera recording. His upstairs neighbor begins pounding on the ceiling, and soon his doorbell is being rung by a policewoman, who gives him a summons for disturbing the peace.
The second act, A Need for Less Expertise, is about a couple whose 26-year marriage is suffering ennui. They have been given a relationship workout audio tape designed to help them perform sexually.
