Folly As It Flies is a comedy, in five acts by Frederick Reynolds (1764–1841)[1].

First performed at Covent Garden in October 1801, with an Epilogue by Mr. Serjeant Sellon.

First printed in London by A. Strahan for T.N. Longman and O. Rees, 1802.

1817: Announced for performance in the African Theatre, Cape Town by the Garrison Players on 16 August, with as afterpiece The Adopted Child (Birch), but not performed.

1823: Performed in the African Theatre, Cape Town by the Garrison Players on 27 September, with The Day After The Wedding (Kemble) as afterpiece.
