Ntshieng studied theatre at the Victory Siyonqoba Theatre Group in Alexandra, Johannesburg.
She wrote Umdlwembe? (staged under the banner of the Barney Simon Young Directors Festival 1999, The Laager), The Anger, The Red Rose, Zisubile (voted best production at the Stop Crime Festival 1997). Domestic violence is often the theme of her plays.
