(195*-) Actor, director, teacher and drama lecturer. Studied at the Drama Department of the University of ****, Appointed by the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department (198*-199*), to teach English speech, voice and acting. A meticulous craftsman and demanding teacher who directed a number a memorable productions for the Department, including ****, Peter Schaffer's Equus in Afrikaans in 1982 and in Englsih in (1988/9?*), Wilder's Our Town/Ons Dorp (19**) and Strindberg's Miss Julie (19**).

He left Stellenbosch and University teaching in 199*, to become a language teacher in the east.
