The Flashing Stream by English-born playwright and novelist Charles Morgan (1894-1958)[1].
The original text
First produced in England in 1938, it deals with mental absolutism.
South African productions
First produced in South Africa in 1943 by the Johannesburg Reps, directed by Muriel Alexander, starring Sydney Witkin and Minna Schneier. Also produced by NTO in 1956, with Margaret Inglis, Robert Lang and John Hussey, directed by Inglis.
