A.J. du Plessis (19*-19*) was a Pretoria-based amateur theatre practitioner, designer and stage manager ("Toneelmeester").
A keen designer and stage manager, he was a member of Volksteater in Pretoria, later serving on its management committee, becoming chairman in 19**.
He was one of four stage managers working on Koning Oidipus (Volksteater, 1938)
