Jocelyn de Bruyn (Sometimes credited as Joc. de Bruyn) (19**-**). Actor, linguist and speech trainer in spoken English, Italian and French.

He received his dramatic training at the Old Vic Theatre, London and played for the Johannesburg Repertory Society and the Munro-Inglis Company.

During the 1960s and 1970s he was lecturer in English Speech and Elocution at the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department.

He translated Friedrich Hebbel's play Maria Magdalena into Afrikaans.
