In South Africa the play was directed by Peter Goldsmid for Pieter Toerien Productions starring Michael Atkinson as George Bernard Shaw. First performance Friday 12 June 1987. Lighting design Jannie Swanepoel, costume co-ordinator John Tullis. The première was at the National Arts Festival.
