Open School on the Move was a project of the Open School Street and Community Theatre Programme in South Africa, associated with works like the children's play Kagiso Sechaba written by anti-apartheid activist, poet, and writer Don Mattera.
Developed as an outreach and community-centered initiative bringing educational and theatrical arts directly into streets and local communities. • Literary/Artistic Connection: Featured cultural productions, including Don Mattera’s plays such as Kagiso Sechaba (inspired by Malaika McKenzie) and One Time Brother.
