TIP-ex is a bilingual, Afrikaans and English, play by Lauren Hannie

Sometimes referred to as TIP-EX or Tippex.

A play about a young girl’s discovery of her sexual orientation, "corrective rape" and growing up in a family that prizes conformity about all else. I

Launched at the Zabalaza Theatre Festival in March 2016, it then transferred to the the Best of the Zabalaza Theatre Festival. The piece won the awards for Best Production and Best Script at the Festival, and the text was published by Junkets Publisher in 2017

Performance history in South Africa

2016: Performed at the Baxter Theatre Centre as part of the Best of the Zabalaza Theatre Festival (12-23 April), directed by Lauren Hannie, with Lauren Hannie, Melissa Johannisen and Maxine Caesar, music by Dominique Domingo.
