Lloyd Kandlin is an acrobat, actor, singer, costumier and creative director.

Biography
He started out as a singer and actor in 1994 and in 1997 trained as an acrobat, joining Myth Productions (1999-2002) as costume and set designer. In 2000 he completed an internship at the Williamstown Theater Festival, and in 2003 he began working as a solo comedy acrobatic performer and designer, appearing in various theatres in Germany (often also responsible for costume and set design) as well as South Africa.
In 2014 he became the founding Director of The Costume Dept. in Cape Town.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Film work has included appearances in The Adventures of Sinbad (1996) and Casting Me... (2012).
Acrobatic work included Baletsatsi at Sun City Extravaganza Theater
As a member of Myth Productions (From 1999-2002), he was responsible for costume design and production and set design and construction for their productions.
As a solo comedy acrobatic performer, he appeared in various theatres in Germany (often also being responsible for costume and set design) and in 2007 became a member of the cast of Madame Zingara's Theatre of Dreams, functioning as actor/acrobat, master of ceremonies and again also responsible for costumes.
