History
Originally founded in the late 1930s, it used the Little Theatre on the Hiddingh Campus for most of its productions. All students - not simply Drama students - were able to participate in the productions. One such member was Roy Sargeant, who went on to become a prolific theatre director and, as Head of English Drama at the SABC, TV producer.
