Junkets is a South African publishing house.

Also referred to as Junkets Publisher or Junkets Publishers in some cases.

The company

A small-scale publishing house founded by Robin Malan and based in Cape Town, South Africa. Formed to publish Malan's own novel Rebel Angel in 2005, in association with Snailpress, it has since published numerous volumes of poetry, plays and novels.

Playtexts published

Among the plays they have published are The Boy Who Fell from the Roof by Juliet Jenkin (First performed 2005, published 2007), Out of Bounds by Rajesh Gopie (2008); Brothers in Blood by Mike van Graan (2012); Worst of Both Worlds by Bulelani Mabutyana (2012), Skierlik by Phillip M. The publishing house also has a "Collected Series" of publications, consisting inter alia of collections of playtexts, monologues and stories. These include:
