Die drama is in die vorm van ’n lang monoloog deur ’n haarkapper, met die onheilspellende herhaling van wat hy sal maak met die man wat sy vrou verkrag het en haar kranksinnig agtergelaat het. Algaande word dit duidelik dat die klant wie se hare en baard hy nou besig is om te sny, daardie man is.
