(17**-1817) Soldier, amateur actor and playwright. He was a member of the [[Garrison Players]], and wrote a prologue to their performance of ''[[Wild Oats]]'' (O'Keefe) on 4 November, 1815. He died at the Cape in 1817, while still involved with theatricals.

He worked for the colonial service and went to Cape Town as Colonial Treasurer in 1813, where he became involved in local theatricals. He died of tuberculosis in Cape Town in 1817.
