The [[South African Magical Society]] (or [[S.A.M.S.]]) is the oldest magicians’ society in Africa, and one of the oldest in the world.

Founded in 1918, the society celebrated its 100th birthday last year. [[S.A.M.S.]] has members from all walks of life: businessmen, academics, sea captains, artisans, doctors, sales people, writers, and of course professional entertainers.
