Their performances where private, and each person who bought a ticket to their shows, regardless of race,  automatically become a member of [[SALT]], enabling them to attend. This was created because of their problems in staging ''[[Godspell]]'' in 1974, and the technique, based on similar strategies by radical theatre companies, such as the [[Space Theatre]], was now utilised for their production of ''[[The Black Mikado]]'' in 1976 and the revival of ''[[Godspell]]'' in 197* &lt;br /&gt;
