== Biography ==

Born in Gugulethu, Cape Town, he was raised there by his grandmother, his parents having passed away. He initially studied retail business management at [[CPUT]], but dropped out in March 2009 to work at a Caltex garage to support his family, while also moonlighting at [[ArtsCape]]. When his first play was accepted for performance at the ArtsCape Spring Drama Season in 2011, he resigned to concentrate on his work in theatre.
