First performed at Madame Vestris’s Royal Olympic Theatre, January 15 1838.
Published in Dicks' standard plays, no. 808 (with ''[[A dead shot]]'') and also in Leipsic (sic) by Hartung, 1845 (in Volume 11 of The modern English comic theatre Issue 30 of Webster's acting national drama.)
