She studied Drama at the Pretoria Technikon for four years before she graduated from the University of Pretoria with a B.A. in Drama at the end of 1979.

She played Mev Kauffman in ''[[Come Back, Little Sheba|Kom Terug, Klein Skeba]]'' for [[CAPAB]] in 1981. She also had roles in ''[[En Die Son Skyn in Suid-Afrika]]'', ''[[Mooi Maria]]'', ''[[Die Oresteia-Trilogie]]'', ''[[‘n Pot Vol Winter]]''.
