==Training==

He studied at the [[University of Cape Town]] School of Dance with [[Dudley Thomlinson]] and [[Elizabeth Triegaardt]] where he received his Solo Seal.

Robin van Wyk is the Artistic Director of [[Cape Town City Ballet]]. He joined [[NAPAC Dance]] Company in 1990 and then [[PACT Ballet]] in 1991 where he quickly moved through the ranks to Senior Soloist. In 1997 he moved to [[CAPAB Ballet]] (now known as [[Cape Town City Ballet]]), was promoted to Principal Dancer in 2000 and had several roles created on him by [[Veronica Paeper]].

In 2001 Robin joined the Musical Theatre Business and was cast as Mister Mistofelees in ''[[Cats]]'', traveling to 11 countries with the world tour.

He teaches ballet at [[LAMTA]].
