The [[Rise Up and Walk International Youth Arts Festival]] is a youth development festival initiated by the [[Sibongile Bax Dale]] project, in association with the [[Joburg Theatre]]'s Youth Development Programme, in August 2015.

The programme included plays, dance performances, stand-up comedians, musicians, children story telling and film. There was also a contribution from the world-renowned [[Paines Plough Theatre Company]] from the UK, in South Africa for a week from 14 August, running workshops in Soweto, Alexandria and Thembisa as part of the festival programming.
