Born in South Africa, he studied at the [[Zoli Marki Drama School]] and the [[Robin Williams Drama Academy]] (1990) and the [[Pretoria Technikon]], completing a National Diploma in Performing Arts (Drama) (4years)(1997)

He now resides and works in Victoria, Australia.

==Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance==

During his time at the Technikon he wrote some one-act plays and short scripts, including [[Oom Johannes se Huis]], [[The Tunnel]] (Glass Crown Award, Best Original Script), ''[[As die Skoen Pas]]'', ''[[Horror of the Soap Operas]]'' and a TV Pilot ''[[Wreck Hunters]]''.
