''[[Part of Me]]'' is an improvised play by [[Janine Ulfane]] (1960-).

A commissioned work for the Jermyn St Theatre, a view of life during the apartheid years through the eyes of a child, improvised with the help of an ensemble cast. The play mines the author's Durban childhood as source material and drawing on Yiddish history, through Bollywood and culminating in rousing [[Zulu]] warrior dance.

It was first performed in London on 29 June 2014 as part of Jermyn St Theatre’s South African Season, along with three other South African plays (i.e. ''[[Statements]]'' by [[Athol Fugard]], [[Reza de Wet]] and [[Basil Appollis]] respectively). The season is curated by artistic director, Anthony Biggs.

South African born actress and producer is based in London. Her work has in the past taken her back to South Africa in Athol Fugard’s Hello and Goodbye. She has worked in Ireland and Sweden as well as in the UK. This is her first devised piece. She is also part of an all women Impro Group, Permission Improbable.

Performed . Particularly striking is Cordelia Monsey’s production Of ''[[Statements]]'' by Athol Fugard, a must see and painful evocation of two naked lovers arrested under the Immorality Act.
