The [[North End Library Hall]], was part of the North End Library and was designed by F W Crage. It is situated on a triangular piece of land bounded by Mount Road and Crawford Street, North End [[Port Elizabeth]]. The building was opened on October 8, 1909, by the Civil Commissioner [[W C Scully]]. The hall was extended and given its own entrance. The building was opened by Mayor [[A H Brookes]] on December 17, 1927. The alterations were the work of [[Smith, Sons and Dewar]]. The hall was used during the day by scholars from an overcrowded school.
