(18*-18*) Madame Victor , actress, billed as being "from the Royal Theatre, Brussels". A member of the [[French Dramatic Artistes]] from Mauritius which arrived in Cape Town in 1848 under the leadership of [[Dalle Case]] and also included her husband, [[C. Crosset]]; [[L. Victor]]; [[X. Hus]]; and [[Mme Victor]] and others. In February 1848 she joined Case's local professional French theatre company called the [[Dalle Case Company]], but by March 1848 the company had to close. She then worked for the [[Theatre de L'Union]], formed in March 1848, but by the end of September the company had disappeared.
