[[Media Works]] is an [[Adult Education and Training]] ([[ABET]]) provider that had its roots in the [[Community Arts Project]] and was founded by [[Jackie Carroll]] and [[Dennis Lamberti]]. It commenced trading in March 1996 with a total of two staff members. By 2010 the company employed over 80 full-time employees and over 425 contracted facilitators who service the private sector and government departments alike.

In 2002 [[MediaWorks]] joined forces with the [[Community Arts Project]] to found the [[Arts and Media Access Centre]] in Cape Town.
