[[Leigh Bishop]] has a fine arts background and has worked in film, television and theatre for the past 22 years.

She has designed a number of feature films, amongst them the award-winning ''[[Wooden Camera]]'', which received a Crystal Bear at the Berlin Film Festival and Best Film Granprix in Montreal and [[John Kani]]'s ''[[Nothing but the Truth]]'' which received a Silver Stallion and Peace Prize at the Ouagadougou Film Festival and Best African Film in Milan.

Leigh has worked with [[Mark Dornford-May]] on the acclaimed productions of ''[[The Mysteries - Yiimimangaliso]]'', ''[[Carmen]]'', ''[[The Beggar's Opera - ibali looTsotsi]]'' and ''[[Silver Lake]]'', which toured worldwide. They also worked together on ''[[A Christmas Carol - Ikrismas Kherol]]'' and ''[[The Magic Flute - Impempe Yomlingo]]''. ''[[The Magic Flute - Impempe Yomlingo]]'' also won Leigh the 2008 [[Naledi Award]] for Best Costume.
