		+	Formally known as the Shochiku Kageki Dan (SKD) when it was founded in 1928, the troupe was resident at, and the main attraction of, the famous Kokusai Theatre Asakusa ("Akasuka International Theater")[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asakusa_International_Theater] from Tokyo. They had become world famous for their appearance in the Marlon Brando film ''Sayonara'' (1958). The company ceased to exist with the closing of the theatre in 1982.
