In 1978 his roles included "Sir Frances Chesney" in ''[[Charley's Aunt]]'' (Brandon Thomas), "Pepe Hernandez" ''[[El Grande de Coca Cola]]'' (John Neville et al.), "Toby Belch" in ''[[Twelfth Night]]'', "Andrey" in ''[[Three Sisters]]'' (Chekhov) and "Don" in ''[[People are Living There]]'' (Fugard).
