A Grahamstown-based troupe of black actors, founded in the early 1970s by [[Don MacLennan]], who remained closely associated with them. They collaborated with him on ''[[Job Mava]]'' (written and performed in 1972/3, published 1981/2) and had their last performance in 1975 in Cape Town with MacLennan’s adaptation of Gorki’s ''[[My Childhood]]''. They also had exchange agreements with [[Rob Amato]]’s East London based [[Imitha Players]] and [[Athol Fugard]]’s Port Elizabeth group the [[Serpent Players]].
