[[Hirshfield's Theatre Company]] was a company of British actors presented in South Africa by the local [[impresario]] [[Mr Hirshfield]] during 1888.

The company members had been selected in England by the actor [[J.A. Rosier]], and also included [[Joseph Ashman]], who made was his first Colonial appearance with this company.

In June 1888 they appeared at the Exhibition Theatre, Cape Town, with a repertoire that included ''[[Sweet Lavender]]'' (Pinero), ''[[The Arabian Nights]]'' (Collier-Edwards and Dudley) and ''[[In His Power]]'' ()Quinton).
