A letter from director [[John W. Slemon]], dated June 21 1988, advised the author of the [[Baxter Theatre]]'s 'precarious' financial postion and his decision to therefore 'treat ''Henry'' as a Studio venture' before trying to 'take the play to the main stage', and offering 'a six weeks slot in the Studio...with our eye to possible [[NAF|Grahamstown]] transfer'. ([[NELM]] 2003. 54. 128 and 2003. 54. 129 [Photostat]). There is no other evidence that the play was produced.
