October 8, 1860: [[The Camp at Chobham]] at Garrison Theatre in Grahamstown. Henderson painted special backdrops for the play from an original sketch, "Sunset on the Chenaub River near Wuzeerabad, Punjaub, India" and "The Marine Parade".

		+	Captain H. Henderson was a British Army officer who was later involved in the 1914 Curragh Incident, also known as the Curragh Mutiny. He was one of the officers who refused to march on Ulster when ordered to do so, citing concerns about being used to coerce Ulster Unionists.

		+	Along with other officers, including Colonel Thomas Fenwick and Captain G.C. Bartholomew, Henderson demonstrated his opposition to the British government's plans to impose Home Rule on Ireland. By refusing to obey orders, Henderson and the other officers risked court-martial and dismissal from the Army.
